landscape and hardscape in Bloomington

Andrew is the man for your job. Communication is one of his best traits. He is always on time professional and great and explaining what needs to happen. I would recommend him for any service commercial or residential.

Had AJS complete a hydroseeding project for me, and i couldnt be happier! The grass came in great. Andrew answered the phone right away and made the process seamless. Thank you Andrew!

Thank You guys for a good service! 100% recommend You for everyone!

We had hydroseeding done by Andrew and his crew on 8/25/26. These after shots are from today, 9/5/26. Look at that growth! We saw grass growing after a week just like he said…. and it’s almost filled in with growth after 11 days. Great customer service, product guarantee through the end of the year - professional and good communication. Do yourself a favor and have AJS take care of your lawn, you won’t be disappointed!

We're very pleased with the work done by AJS Outdoor Services! Andrew and his team were great to work with! Our job involved removing old landscape rock and fabric around two large evergreen trees, expanding the edging around the trees and filling the area with mulch, plus replacing about 25 feet of edging in another area. Meshing our busy schedule with AJS Outdoor Services schedule was a bit challenging but Andrew accommodated our needs. As the date approached, Andrew texted us a couple days in advance confirming their schedule and plan. Upon arrival, we discussed and confirmed the scope of work and they began. All work was completed in a couple of days and it looks so much better! We found the original 'landscape fabric' installed beneath the trees years ago was actually plastic sheeting rather than mesh. No wonder the tree's weren't thriving! Thank You, Andrew and team, for your work on our project! Will we call them back again? Absolutely!

Andrew did a fine job on removing the old rock and putting in the new river rock. We had pink rock from 1970's covered with another layer of wood chips. The lawn got beat up from the Bobcat. Andrew came out to over seed. That helped. I will be asking him to hydro seed next season because we have more work being done on the exterior, and I'm afraid hydro seeding now would just be ruined. I may also try to talk to him about planting to further beautify the exterior. You can see the river rock is quite an improvement!

great job at the price promised went above and beyond

I was really impressed with the attention to detail Andrew and his team put into my project. AJS’s thorough prep work was one of the main reasons I chose them, and they absolutely delivered. They’ve completely brought my lawn back to life, and I’m excited to see it continue to grow!

Andrew helped us out with Sod Installation, it looks great!

Appreciated the prompt callback and good price on the job. Would definitely recommend AJS for landscaping and outdoor service.

Had a tree and hill moved back and some shrubs pulled out. Very professional. I would recommend for all yard and winter projects.

Andrew has been easy to work with and very reliable. Highly recommend him for any of our outdoor projects. Fair pricing and great communication.

Highly recommend! Friendly and responsive.

The communication was great. AJS Outdoor Services was highly responsive to my inquiries. The customer service truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!"

Andrew has done work for me for several years. Lawn mowing, snow removal and other landscaping projects. He is a hard worker and everything he does is done very well. I highly recommend him to take care of your outdoor need!

Andrew is an amazing young man! Very professional, and I love that he is local and very fair on pricing! Highly recommend his services!!!

Andrew went above and beyond expectations! Most impressed by how he manages his business and our condo will continue with him for future projects!

Andrew did a fabulous job on my fall cleanup. My lawn was spotless. He blew out all my flower beds and took the leaves with him. He was very kind and I feel his pricing is very competitive. I would recommend him very highly. If you don’t have anyone to do your fall or spring cleanup give him a try. He lives in Bloomington and I prefer to support small businesses in my community. He will be sending me his pricing for fertilizer and aeration and I’m expecting that to be competitive also.

This fall, I needed help with my yard clean up and gutter cleaning. Having contacted several businesses, I chose AJS. Andrew was the first to follow up with me and his estimate was competitive. He did a great job with both yard and gutter cleaning. I don’t remember a time when my yard looked as clean as it did yesterday. Now I hope to have his help with snow removal this winter! I highly recommend his lawncare services.

Highly recommend Andrew. He's The Best most efficient young man who does the job right.
